Special Demands:
Responsibilities include
• Teaching viola lessons for the Bachelor and Master degree students
• Participating in the development and assessment of the curriculums (contents, objectives, methods and resources)
• Participating in the continuous assessment and development of the String Department
• Provide coaching and follow up to students completing their final written projects
• As required, participating in research programs run by the HEMU

Requirements:
YOUR PROFIL
• Master Degree in Music or equivalent diploma
• Master Degree in Educational science is a plus
• Minimum of 5 years of professional teaching experience
• Knowledge of the Pre-College degree in Switzerland or abroad is a plus
• Significant international recognition as a soloist, chamber or orchestra musician
• Good knowledge of French (HEMU official language), some knowledge of English is advantageous

• Ability to work in a dynamic, demanding and varied environment
• Capacity to work in teams and collaborate with the other Faculty members
• Capacity to efficiently coach students with authority and respect
• Acute understanding of differentiated learning
• Creativity and flexibility
